Golden Wellness is offering new group therapy programs beginning in 2026, designed to support emotional healing, resilience, and improved mental health as you begin the new year.
Each group follows an 8-week format and meets once per week for 90 minutes in a supportive, confidential setting, facilitated by a licensed therapist. The total cost for the 8-week program is $400 and is payable with credit card, AfterPay, or other arrangements can be made if needed.
Group therapy can feel intimidating, however, these groups are intentionally structured for safety, choice, and emotional containment. Listening is participation, silence is respected, and no one is ever put on the spot.
Group therapy offers a powerful combination of professional guidance and shared experience. In group settings, participants often discover they are not alone in their struggles, which can reduce shame, isolation, and self-blame. Groups provide opportunities to learn from others, practice new skills in real time, and gain perspective through connection and reflection. Research consistently shows that group therapy can be just as effective as individual therapy, while also fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support. In addition, group therapy is significantly less expensive than individual therapy, while still providing support and therapeutic tools.
Across all groups, participants can expect:
This group focuses on understanding anxiety and learning practical tools to manage worry, fear, and physical stress responses. Participants will explore how anxiety shows up in thoughts, emotions, and the body, and will practice skills for calming the nervous system, setting boundaries with anxious thinking, and increasing confidence in daily life. The group is supportive, skill-based, and designed to help participants feel more grounded and in control.
This group is designed for individuals healing from relational betrayal, including infidelity, broken trust, or significant emotional ruptures. Participants will explore the impact of betrayal on safety, identity, and relationships while learning tools to process emotions, rebuild self-trust, and strengthen boundaries. The group emphasizes validation, emotional safety, and trauma-informed healing in a non-judgmental space.
This group focuses on identifying and reducing shame while building self-compassion and emotional resilience. Participants will explore how shame develops, how it influences behavior and relationships, and how to respond to it with empathy and courage. Through guided discussion and practical exercises, the group supports participants in developing healthier self-talk, deeper connection, and a stronger sense of worth.
